Roger Hutchison

"There is prayerful poetry woven through Houston author/artist Roger Hutchison’s work, a gentle reverence in his tone and posture toward the heartbroken. It’s Hutchison’s ambition to use art, color and poetic language to communicate love and promote healing in today’s hurting world. Hutchison is poised to pilgrim alongside the suffering, a desire unmistakably reflected in his words and art."

- Kathryn Streeter, Houston Family Magazine, May 2018

“Hutchison takes a moving piece of personal artwork and breaks it down into pieces to serve as the lenses through which to view various biblical stories of Jesus. But he doesn’t stop there, as we also find reflections both inspiring and challenging on our own world and our own situations.” - from the Foreword by The Most Reverend Michael Bruce Curry, XXVII Presiding Bishop and Primate of the Episcopal Church
